iittala - iittala’s breakthrough occurred in the early years of
modernism and functionalism in the 1920s and 30s. It was among the first

Riedel - Tradition and innovation - the Riedel company can proudly look

for the high art of glassmaking. Claus Riedel was the first person in
the long history of the glass to design its shape according to the character
of the wine. He is thus recognized as the inventor of the functional wine
